An essential element of ANY good GTD implementation is a set of stacking trays in each office / desktop setting.

For each of my offices (home and work), I invested in a few pieces from the Martha Stewart Stack + Fit collection at Staples.

In each location, I use three stacking paper trays (one for In, one for Pending / Action Support, and one for Out). There is also a drawer unit underneath the paper trays where I can keep teeny gear, like post-its, tape flags, extra labeler tape, etc. I keep a stash of notepads and blank paper above the drawer and under the trays.

The Martha Stewart collection is functional, beautiful AND affordable! They’re worth every penny of the list price but they go on sale 40% to 50% off surprisingly often . . . BONUS!
