I’ve been wearing my Fitbit for a week now and I am a little obsessed with it. It’s so neat to see how many steps I take each day, which is a really simple measurement of how active I am in general. I’m a sucker for positive feedback and I’ve never found an easier way to get thousands of teeny little gold stars each day!
To start out, my goal has been to reach at least 10,000 steps a day for the month of January. I’ve found this to be super-easy on non-work days, but a bit more of a challenge on days when I’ve been stuck behind a desk. To help keep myself “on track”, I created a handy dandy printable pacing guide. Assuming I wake up at 6am and go to sleep at 10pm, this chart gives me a ballpark estimate of how many steps I should have accumulated by a particular time of day. I can easily see if I’m ahead or if I’m at risk of not making my goal for the day. I’ve found it to be helpful and thought I would share with anyone else who is interested:
